Connect an AI agent to GitHub.
xhuman is an opportunity agent that reads your GitHub repositories, recent contributions and profile so the builder side of you shows up across your timeline, your network and your builder view. Connect GitHub and what you have shipped becomes part of how the agent describes you and who it finds for you. It is read-only: xhuman never pushes, comments or opens anything.
01What the agent does in GitHub
- Reads your repositories and profile.
Languages, projects and the profile you keep on GitHub become part of your builder identity.
- Follows your recent contributions.
Commits and activity land on your timeline, so what you have been building is part of the story the agent can tell.
- Stays read-only.
No pushes, comments, issues or pull requests are ever made on your behalf.
02Connect GitHub in 3 steps
- Open Settings → Other connectors.
GitHub is listed under Developer. Click Connect.
- Authorize on GitHub.
A window opens on GitHub's own authorization screen. It is GitHub's form, not ours; xhuman never sees your password.
- Back in xhuman, the row reads Connected.
Repositories and recent contributions sync in over the following minutes.
03Good to know
Availability
Available on every plan.
It never
- Pushes code, opens issues or pull requests, or comments on your behalf.
- Reads private repositories you did not grant.
Your data
Repository metadata, contributions and profile are imported into your mind and timeline. Disconnecting revokes xhuman's access to GitHub.
04Questions people ask
Does xhuman write to my GitHub?
No. The connection is read-only.
Does it read private repositories?
Only what you grant on GitHub's authorization screen. You choose the scope there and can revoke it from GitHub's applications settings at any time.
Which plan do I need?
None in particular. GitHub connects on every plan, including the free one.
How do I disconnect?
Settings → Other connectors → the row's menu → Disconnect. Syncing stops on the spot; what was already imported is yours to manage under Settings → Data.
