xhuman is an opportunity agent that turns your Granola meeting notes into memory about the people you met. Connect Granola once and xhuman automatically adds your available meeting notes to Calls and links each meeting to the matching people in your network, so the next time you write to someone the agent knows what you last discussed. Granola controls how much history and transcript access your plan provides.
01What the agent does in Granola
- Files every meeting to Calls.
Notes and summaries from your Granola meetings appear under Calls in xhuman a few minutes after Granola has them, without you doing anything.
- Links the meeting to the people in it.
Attendees are matched to your network by email address, so a person's page carries the meetings you had with them alongside your mail.
- Answers from what was said.
Ask what you agreed with Dana last month and the agent reads the notes — and the transcript, when your Granola plan provides one.
- Keeps itself out of the picture.
Tell xhuman which email you use for Granola and it excludes you from attendee matching, so your own meetings do not file you as a contact.
02Connect Granola in 4 steps
- Open Settings → Other connectors.
Granola is listed under Productivity.
- Click Connect.
A window opens on Granola's own sign-in screen. No API key, client ID or secret is needed — you sign in to Granola and allow xhuman.
- Add your Granola account email if asked.
xhuman uses it only to exclude you from attendee matching.
- Back in xhuman, the row reads Connected.
Notes from your available meetings start appearing under Calls, and each attendee's page picks them up.

Availability
Available on every plan. One Granola account per xhuman account. Your Granola plan sets what is visible: Basic accounts expose recent notes only and no transcript; Business accounts add transcripts and history.
It never
- Records or joins a meeting — Granola takes the notes; xhuman reads what Granola has.
- Reads meetings outside your active Granola workspace — switching workspaces changes what syncs.
- Writes to Granola.
Your data
Notes, and transcripts where your plan provides them, are imported into your Calls and mind. Disconnecting revokes xhuman's access to Granola.

Do I need a Granola API key?
No. Connecting is a sign-in on Granola's own screen. No API key, client ID or client secret is involved.
Which Granola plan do I need?
Any. A Basic account exposes recent notes and no transcript, which xhuman treats as a supported notes-only connection, not a failure. Business accounts add transcripts and more history.
Why did a meeting not show up?
Most often because it is in a different Granola workspace: only the active workspace is visible to the connection. Switching workspaces in Granola changes what xhuman can sync.
Which xhuman plan do I need?
None in particular. Granola connects on every plan, including the free one.
How do I disconnect?
Settings → Other connectors → the Granola row's menu → Disconnect. xhuman revokes its access to Granola; notes already imported stay in your account and are yours to manage under Settings → Data.
