02Turn on texting in 4 steps
- Open Settings → Channels.
SMS is the second card, and it shows the number your agent texts from.
- Verify your phone number, if you have not already.
xhuman texts a code to the number on your account and you enter it once.
- Turn on texting.
One tap. A confirmation text arrives with how to opt out (STOP) and how to get help (HELP).
- Save the number and text it.
Save it as a contact, then ask what needs your reply today.

Availability
Available on every plan where SMS is offered. If you link Telegram too, notifications go to both by default — tell the agent if you want only one. Texting is currently offered on US numbers.
It never
- Texts anyone but you — the thread is a private line between you and your agent.
- Sends an email, a LinkedIn message or a CRM write from a text without the same approval the app asks for.
- Keeps texting after you send STOP.
Your data
Standard message and data rates may apply. Texts you send are stored in your mind like anything else you tell the agent; reply STOP at any time to turn texting off.

Do I need the app installed to text my agent?
No. Once texting is on, any phone that can send an SMS to the number works — no app, no login, no data connection beyond a signal.
How do I stop the texts?
Reply STOP to any message and texting turns off immediately. You can turn it back on from Settings → Channels. HELP lists the commands.
Can it send emails from a text?
It can draft them and asks before anything leaves, the same approval the app shows. Nothing goes to a third party because you said so in a text without confirming.
Which plan do I need?
None in particular. Texting turns on for any plan where SMS is offered.
Does it cost anything?
xhuman does not charge for texting. Your carrier's standard message and data rates may apply.
