xhuman is an opportunity agent that works inside your Gmail. Connect a mailbox and it reads what has arrived, tells you which messages actually need a reply, drafts each answer in your voice and sends it only when you approve. The same mailbox runs your outreach, so introductions and follow-ups leave from your own address and the replies land back in the thread.
01What the agent does in Gmail
- Finds what needs a reply.
Ask what you need to respond to and it scans the last seven days, including mail you opened and never answered, and lists each message with a suggested reply. When a sender has since withdrawn the ask, it says so instead of nagging you.
- Drafts in your voice, sends on your click.
Every reply opens as an editable card with a Send button. The button is the approval; nothing leaves your account until you press it.
- Works through the inbox with you.
Inbox Zero walks the pending messages one card at a time: read, edit, send or skip, and ask for a rewrite in plain words.
- Books the meeting inside the reply.
When someone asks for time, it creates the calendar event with a Google Meet or Zoom link first and puts the join link in the reply.
- Runs outreach from your own address.
Campaigns to people you find or already know go out from your Gmail, paced inside business hours, with follow-ups that stop the moment someone replies.
- Knows who you actually talk to.
Gmail also feeds your network: the people you email most, how often, and the recent threads, so a question like who you know at a company answers from real correspondence.
02Connect Gmail in 5 steps
- Open Settings → Email & Calendar.
Gmail is the first row. If a mailbox is already connected, the button reads Add another — you can connect several Gmail accounts, and each shows separately.
- Click Connect.
A window opens on Google's own sign-in and permissions screen. It is Google's form, not ours; xhuman never sees your password.
- Choose the account and accept the permissions.
Google lists exactly what xhuman may do with the account. Approve to continue.
- Back in xhuman, the row reads Connected.
A banner confirms the mailbox and syncing starts: the people you email most begin appearing in your network within minutes.
- Ask it something.
"What do I need to reply to?" scans the mailbox. "Reply to Dana and say Thursday works" opens the draft card.

Availability
Available on every plan. Connect as many Gmail mailboxes as you like; triage reports per account and a reply always leaves from the address the message arrived at.
It never
- Sends an email without a card you approved — the Send button is the approval.
- Sends more than three emails at once on one approval; a larger batch is scheduled at least ten minutes out so you can cancel it.
- Reads or acts on anyone else's mailbox — each connection is your own account, authorized by you on Google's screen.
Your data
Mail is read to answer your requests and to build your network. Disconnecting from the same row stops all reading and sending on the spot.
04Questions people ask
Does xhuman send emails without asking me?
No. Every one-off email opens as a card with a Send button, and the button is the approval. Campaigns are the exception you set up yourself: you approve the campaign, at most three emails go out immediately, and anything larger is scheduled at least ten minutes out so you can cancel before the first one leaves.
What does xhuman read in my Gmail?
Your recent threads and the people you correspond with, so it can tell you what needs a reply and who you actually know. You authorize this on Google's own permissions screen and can revoke it there, or from the Gmail row in Settings, at any time.
Can I connect more than one Gmail account?
Yes. Each mailbox is its own row under Email & Calendar, triage reports per account, and a reply always goes out from the address the message arrived at.
Which plan do I need?
None in particular. Gmail connects on every plan, including the free one. What scales with plan is how much the agent can do for you each month, not whether your mail is connected.
How do I disconnect, and what happens to my data?
Open Settings → Email & Calendar, open the Gmail row's menu and choose Disconnect. Reading and sending stop immediately. What was imported into your network is yours to manage under Settings → Data.
Does it work the same with Outlook?
Yes. Gmail and Outlook are built to parity: triage, reply cards, Inbox Zero and campaigns all work from either, and you can connect both.
