xhuman is an opportunity agent that learns from your YouTube subscriptions, playlists and liked videos to understand what you follow and return to. Connect YouTube and those interests join your mind alongside what you read and write elsewhere. It is read-only, and it does not see your watch history, because YouTube does not expose it.
01What the agent does in YouTube
- Reads your subscriptions.
The channels you follow become interests the agent can reason about, alongside what you read on X and write in Notion.
- Reads playlists and liked videos.
Your playlists and the liked-videos playlist of the connected account show what you have kept and endorsed.
- Says what it cannot see.
YouTube does not expose watch history through its API, so xhuman does not have it — and never pretends to.
02Connect YouTube in 4 steps
- Open Settings → Other connectors.
YouTube is listed under Media.
- Click Connect.
A window opens on Google's own sign-in and permissions screen. It is Google's form, not ours; xhuman never sees your password.
- Choose the account and allow the permissions.
Google lists what xhuman may read on YouTube. Allow to continue.
- Back in xhuman, the row reads Connected.
Subscriptions, playlists and liked videos sync in over the following minutes.

Does xhuman see my watch history?
No. YouTube does not expose watch history through its API. xhuman reads subscriptions, playlists and the liked-videos playlist of the connected account, nothing else.
Does it change anything on my YouTube account?
No. The connection is read-only.
Which plan do I need?
None in particular. YouTube connects on every plan, including the free one.
How do I disconnect?
Settings → Other connectors → the YouTube row's menu → Disconnect. You can also revoke xhuman from your Google account's third-party access page.
