xhuman is an opportunity agent that indexes your recent Google Drive files and shared drives and reads bounded text from supported Docs, Sheets, Slides and text files. Connect Google Drive and the documents your work actually lives in become part of what the agent can find and cite. It is read-only: xhuman never moves, edits or shares a file.
01What the agent does in Google Drive
- Indexes recent files and shared drives.
What you and your team keep in Drive is known to the agent by name and place, including shared drives you belong to.
- Reads supported files as text.
Docs, Sheets, Slides and plain text files are imported as bounded text, so their content is searchable and citable.
- Stays read-only.
Nothing is created, moved, shared or deleted — the connection only reads.
02Connect Google Drive in 3 steps
- Open Settings → Other connectors.
Google Drive is listed under Productivity. Click Connect.
- Choose the Google account and allow the permissions.
A window opens on Google's own sign-in and permissions screen. It is Google's form, not ours; xhuman never sees your password.
- Back in xhuman, the row reads Connected.
Recent files index over the following minutes; the row shows Ready when they are searchable.

Availability
Available on every plan. Imported text counts toward your plan's training-words cap.
It never
- Creates, moves, shares or deletes a file.
- Reads file types it cannot turn into text.
Your data
File names and imported text live in your mind, private to you. Disconnecting revokes xhuman's access to Google Drive.

Does xhuman change anything in my Drive?
No. The connection is read-only.
Which file types does it read?
Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, and plain text files, as bounded text. Other files are indexed by name and place but their contents are not imported.
Which plan do I need?
None in particular. Google Drive connects on every plan, including the free one.
How do I disconnect?
Settings → Other connectors → the row's menu → Disconnect. Syncing stops on the spot; what was already imported is yours to manage under Settings → Data.
