Connect an AI agent to Google Docs.

xhuman is an opportunity agent that reads the text of your recent Google Docs so your longer-form writing — memos, drafts, notes — feeds what it knows about how you think and what you have decided. Connect Google Docs and that writing becomes searchable and citable in your mind. It is read-only: xhuman never edits a document.

What the agent does in Google Docs

  • Imports readable text from recent documents.

The docs you can open are read as text and become part of your mind, where a question about your own thinking can find them.

  • Cites the document it drew on.

An answer grounded in a doc points back to it, so you can open the source rather than trust a paraphrase.

  • Keeps within bounds.

Recent, accessible documents only, imported as bounded text — the connector does not crawl your entire Drive history.

Connect Google Docs in 3 steps

  1. Open Settings → Other connectors.

Google Docs is listed under Productivity. Click Connect.

  2. Choose the Google account and allow the permissions.

A window opens on Google's own sign-in and permissions screen. It is Google's form, not ours; xhuman never sees your password.

  3. Back in xhuman, the row reads Connected.

Recent documents sync in over the following minutes; the row shows Ready when they are searchable.

Imported text lives in your mind, private to you. Disconnecting revokes xhuman's access to Google Docs.

Questions people ask

Does xhuman edit my documents?

No. The connection reads text only.

Which documents does it read?

Recent Google Docs you can access, imported as readable text. It does not import your whole Drive — connect Google Drive for files and shared drives.

Which plan do I need?

None in particular. Google Docs connects on every plan, including the free one.

How do I disconnect?

Settings → Other connectors → the row's menu → Disconnect. Syncing stops on the spot; what was already imported is yours to manage under Settings → Data.
